a group project - The Close to Home exhibition was an amazing gesture of cross-collaboration, where students planned & implemented all aspects of structure, content, experience, graphics, and PR. This exhibit celebrated the life and work of Greensboro architect, Edward Loewenstein (1913-70), and brought the story of Modernism and the effects of the progressive thoughts and deep spirit of this man on Greensboro of the 1950s and 1960s.

This project sought to ascertain the impact of museums on the communities in which they exist. The design project required objective input from various local community groups and cultural organizations in order to direct the design of a bicycling museum and community center.
